Thank you for considering Mountain Video Productions in regards to your wedding.

Mountain Video has been working in the video and film business since 1990 generating a wide variety of credits, which are shown on the home page broadcast tab. Below you will find an outline to our services along with some special considerations that we should look at so that we may provide you with the desired project.

Complete Event Program

Our fully edited production. This project begins with an edited scenic introduction to Telluride, if applicable, and mixes scenic shots from the day with music played from the day. The bride and groom preparing, guests arriving, flowers, etc. are all included to lead the viewer into the full coverage of the ceremony and reception with one cameraperson.

Positioning of Cameraman Options

One camera is positioned somewhere behind the left shoulder of the minister on a tripod and does not roam once the procession begins. This gives you the best shot of the couples faces during the ceremony, unless; the space is tight and/or the groomsmen stand in the way, Jewish ceremonies have the hoopa which can dramatically cut down on the field of vision depending on its construction. The disadvantages are; I am included in the wide photo shots of the ceremony, the brides walk down the isle along with the flower girls may be partially obstructed when the crowd stands.

The second position would be at the back row next to the isle on a tripod and is stationary once the procession begins. This gives a nice overview, but people sometimes stand up to take photo and block the shot. Even with these small problems which could arise, this is the most common selected spot.

Sound Considerations

I use a wireless microphone placed on the minister or groom depending on the situation. The on camera microphone is also recording additional ambient sound on a second channel. This arrangement works well for almost all situations.

Ceremonies often include readers of scriptures or poems. Please let me know if you plan to have additional speakers, we recommend providing a sound reinforcement to ensure the quality of sound for these people taking into account camera placement, outdoor wind, the inability of the speaker to project their voice, etc. $325 minimum.

  • Pricing
  • Additional sound up to 150pp: 1 microphone with stand for readers, 2 speakers on stands to project sound to audience, Audio technician to assist and mix sound. Price $375
  • Additional sound 150pp +: recommend 4 speakers with audio technician. Price $475
  • DC powered system available for an additional $100
  • Complete Event Program is $975. $125/hr each additional hour of coverage after the ceremony and includes "best of" editing to smooth out the presentaion of the reception. The addtional taping time after the ceremony yields approx. 10-15 minutes of video per hour of shooting.

Payment would be made 50% upon booking and the remainder on wedding day. Project to be completed in approximately in 6 weeks. DVD copies are $35

Cancellation: Refundable deposit 50% up to 120 days in advance of wedding. No refund of deposit within 120 days.
